I was able to re-create a few simple transitions (like this one for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67w0R37oy1M) and trigger them with a single button push.

Afaik most of them are multiFX mappings. The best I know of is the 10yr old automixer that has some hardcoded transitions. Is there a better one?

What I'm proposing is parametrized, automated transitions that anyone can create and exchange. For example you can live download an expansion pack that contains a crab scratch routine and play it right from your deck without being required to prepare anything in advance.

Makes sense or that's been done already? :)

I need to stabilize the macOS one first. The more feedback I get, the faster I'm able to do that and move to Windows.

At least I took a step in that direction; I've got a Windows box :)
