Maschine Jam hidden snake game

people may well be aware of this... to access it.. load maschine software as normal

then using the directional keys on the Jam press the following

up/up/down/down/Left/Right/Left/Right

group b

group a

play

this will bring up a flashing (LED) and the snake

use the directional keys as controls

i had come into the knowledge of this being in existence a year or two ago, from watching a sort of documentary of the Maschine Jams beginnings.. and in that doco, the creator behind Mjam made mention of it... i never took in the keypresses that was shared on that docu...

but just yesterday i was looking at the Lua script files in the Maschine Contents/Resources/Scripts and inside one the the lua files it referenced the snake game and had commented out the keypresses...

also yesterday after having made this post...i saw a post to referencing Vegas mode ... and was pointed to https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408650711185-Activating-Vegas-Mode-on-NI-Hardware-Devices

which again shares the snake game keypresses...

im obviously the last to know LOL

Yeah it was funny when I discovered it back in the days. But… you know…we musicians already get distracted easily when creating…adding this seriously increase the size of the “not finished yet” folder 😂😂😂

It’ like these Kletris, Flappy Mix and FFT Fight plug-ins from Klevgrand… Seriously? Games plug-ins for DAWS? So you REALLY want me to not finish any of my projects 😂😂😂

Joking…the programmer was a genius inserting Snake as an Easter egg in a grid based controller 👍🏼

But be careful: if you put all your NI controllers into Vegas mode and you have some troubles with epilepsy, you won’t have a nice 5 minutes 😂
