Does Komplete Kontrol MK1 work as a USB controller in Maschine+?

This time I don’t agree with you (strangely): even only the Fatar semi weighted keybed IS a special function. If you find a 150$ generic MIDI controller with such good keys, tell me where to buy it 😉

I was only referring to actual practical functionality and not things like keybed feel, build quality, etc... of course, those things will be much better on a keyboard that costs 600$ rather than on a cheap M-Audio keyboard or similar.

I just feel like it's a bit misleading to only say 'it works' when the bulk of what you pay for which is the dedicated functions won't work, mostly for more inexperienced users who might be reading and considering buying one to end up disappointed... Yes, I overthink everything. lol

I know and I understand what you were trying to say. You have a point about the lack of the dedicated features. But “zero special functions” was a bit excessive 😉

And you’re right about the fact that not everybody can understand what “in midi mode” means. But (even not being like me or you), when buying a 600 or more tool, a little bit of research MUST be done. Otherwise you are consciously searching for a little bit of disappointment 😏

In any case I answered so directly cause the op is already a KK mk1 owner and not someone asking “do I have to buy one?”

Its a bummer because It worked fine together with with my maschine MK3 but stoped working when I got the Maschine+
