Kontrol Z2 Timecode Control vinyl not calibrating

Mixer works fine when playing control Vinyl MK2. I can hear the high pitched playback when playing vinyl in Thru mode.

However when enabling he deck in Traktor Pro the Deck platter receives no signal.

In the preferences there is no visible audio input indicators for any of the input decks when playing back audio:

But I don't know if there is a pop up or something like that ever asking this. I don't own a mac.

My assumption was this might be something to do with using an M2 processor.

I've attempted using:

Traktor 2

Traktor DJ 2

Traktor Pro 3

Including the beta with native Silicon support:

I'm definitely getting input over USB as I can see the Input Level in the Mac System Preferences:

After much googling and frustration having to use https://web.archive.org/ to trawl through old community post on this forum. I finally found the solution on this reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/traktorpro/comments/9lv31n/timecode_vinyl_not_calibrating_mojave_the_issue/

The drama was due to Apple's additional security settings which was disallowing Traktor to access microphone:

I'm not sure if this was prompted during installation or not - whether or not I declined it initially.

But this should really be documented somewhere.

Thanks- this sorted me out on a Big Sur upgrade.
