hello, I bought Komplete 13 some time ago but have never set up a studio therefor not installed. I see that there is now complete 14. can someone tell me if 'all' the instruments in 14 have been updated or are some exactly this same in both versions? Are they all compatible with a Mac M1 Max chip? thank you in advance.

IF I owned it I would not feel the need to upgrade. Kontakt 6 is still a working piece of software. All the instruments you have are enough to keep you busy for a long long time.

If I couldn't make incredible music with Komplete 13, I shouldn't be making music.

Installing it seems to be the issue for several users these days. I beleive M1 and M2 are fully supported.

Firstly, compatibility of NI products for Apple Silicon can be found here:

    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014900358-Compatibility-of-Native-Instruments-Products-on-macOS

Kontakt 6 is compatible so no "need" to update, would simply be if you feel you need the additional content tho if you have not yet used your current v13 then it would probably be an idea to just install that, get use to it then maybe decide if you could use anything more but basically, K14 has the same stuff as K13 but more and also includes Kontakt 7 which at the end of the day, other than some new instruments is mostly a cosmetic upgrade.

Thank you both for your input, greatly appreciated. Yes I guess I will install Komplete 13. I think my only real concern was if all the applications that came with 13 run on Mac silicon. Again thank you
