For what ever reason KK2 refuses to find my plugins. It was working fine but now it refuses to load instruments "Plug in not found" in Cubase - I can hear the preview.

Re-install KK2 software, check

Run KK2 standalone - rescan working fine, check

Cubase scan plugins fine

Search web and Reset the KOMPLETE KONTROL Database for MAC check

It still doesn't work experts please I'm wasting hours on something that was working fine, I'm more than frustrated.

Sorry @Omnidelic I just stumbled on your post now. Are you still struggling with this issue?

To be clear, in Komplete Kontrol in standalone everything is loading as expected?

In Cubase, does that happen with any kind of instrument or preset or is it only with Kontakt libraries ? Massive presets? Reaktor instruments?

Are you using Cubase in Rosetta mode or ARM native mode?

Sorry @Omnidelic I just stumbled on your post now. Are you still struggling with this issue?

Yes I been having the problem for around 3 weeks and I have spent many hours attempting to resolve the issue.

Yes in standalone the plugin are found and works expected

In Cubase, does that happen with any kind of instrument or preset or is it only with Kontakt libraries ? Massive presets? Reaktor instruments?

Only in KK 2, Repro etc work in Kontact, they are not located on my samples drive, but my Mac HD drive. Yes massive etc open in cubase as expected, again these are located on my system drive. So problem is with KK2 and my standalone disk drive.

My libraries are on an additional disk, I believe the problem started when I download your free version of Kontact player.

Are you using Cubase in Rosetta mode or ARM native mode?

I am using an M1 mac studio I assume rosetta under Cubase?

Make sure that Cubase and Komplete Kontrol have Full Disk Access: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

I have just enabled full disk access to all NI products, only Native access was ticked. Stand alone is still working ok bit the plug in is not found in Cubase still after enabling and rescanning in Cubase. Mac OS Monterey 12.5.1, so the problem is still not resolved.

    Thank you

I can now confirm that Kontact 5 opens and finds my Library, so the problem is only with Komplete Kontrol.

About Rosetta vs ARM, it depends on if it's ticked here or not:

In this example I'm not in Rosetta I'm in ARM native mode.

Sorry if my question was not clear before. Do you get an error message for any kind of preset you load in the Komplete Kontrol plug-in in Cubase? For a Kontakt library? For a Massive preset? I really mean inside the Komplete Kontrol plug-in and not directly in Cubase.

'Repro etc work in Kontact' - huh? Repro is a plugin

The strange thing 3 weeks ago everything was working fine without making the above change - I'll try without Rosetta in native and get back to you - thanks

@Omnidelic You still did not answer my questions.

What presets are you loading in Komplete Kontrol when you get the plug-in error message?

OK - so I have updated my Mac to native no Rosetta2, cubase then performs a scan on start up and finds KK as expected. I start a new project and as always I still receive the plug in not found message. I get a very small preview of the sound but it will not find the plug in, the normal error.

If I open Diva in KK the plugin is found as works as expected.

I open the KK standalone, it's is all working fine. I performed a rescan again no problems. So some how regardless of Rosetta 2 KK cannot see my external drive with my libraries on it when in Cubase!

This is really starting to get me down now I've spent many hours trying everything you and google has recommended and nothing appears to fix the problem.

Can you gain remote access to my Mac to try to resolve this?

Thanks for your support and help.

@Omnidelic You still did not answer my questions.

What presets are you loading in Komplete Kontrol when you get the plug-in error message?

Any NI plug in as stated Repro etc works, try to load scarbee or any other NI plug I hear a brief preview and then the plug in not found message.

All NI's work fine in standalone.

    Thanks

I have had to go back to Rosetta 2, my projects only work when engaged.
