ive read that Updating Bios might help with CPU overload Issue when using High Cap VST(Pharlight, FXs, etc.)
I need help finding the right Bios Update, can anyone help?
Hi @JJPP this article is pretty useful:
To make it faster for you: You can download BIOS updates for your motherboard here:
https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-X99-UD4P-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios
However, you already have the latest available update (F23c) installed.
@Monochrome
if its up to date that means my situation is hopeless and the only option is to upgrade my MB and CPU?

Looking at your Specs., Unless your plowing along 100 tracks and infinite Vat's, I don't see where a BIOS update would would do diddly-squat to improve the machines performance.
On my Win doze 10 Pro PC, I hacked the living daylights out of the OS to optimize it for Audio Production.
Assuming your using a decent Interface and keeping your Instrument Libraries and projects on separate drives from the OS, etc.... I would first ensure All your hardware drivers are up2date. Following are a few links to help you out with hot rodding Win 10 for audio.
