Hi guys,

im looking to play my audio 8 with 2x turntables and 2x cdj… is this possible? I do have the time codes for all.

if so, how can I do it? Buy extra multi core cables?

thank you in advance.

That card has 4 stereo ins, right? So yeah should work. Two for the turntables, two for the CDJs if you want to use them as players and not controllers.

I don't think you need multi core cables.

I’m very confused. So the setup is a DJM 800 with 2x technics and 2x cdj900.

i want to use it all with timecode with audio 8.

if I want to control all of them I do need 2 extra sets of multicore cables right?

I can’t find them anywhere either for sale.

You don't need multicore cables. Just plain old RCA/phono cables. 2 pairs for each player. (One pair for player>Audio 8, and one pair for Audio 8>DJM800.

As a in and out situation? So normal RCA cables work just fine? One rca from the player to the audio 8 in and one rca from out in the audio 8 to djm800?

had no idea normal RCA would do the trick….

Yep. Any old RCA’s will do it… Monoprice do great value/quality cables.

Does the player connect directly to the audio 8?

    Yes.

Traktor needs the timecode signal. It does not care if it comes from vinyl or cd.
