Losing sync after pressing cue button on S4 Mk3

Hi

Hope someone can explain this, when I'm mixing a song that is sync'd I press a hot cue or the cue button and the track im mixing in's sync button loses sync and turns red?

I would expect when pressing cue for the sync to stay locked and the play marker to only go back to the cue point?

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Many thanks

Either go into preferences and switch from TempoSync to BeatSync or set Quant to ON.

Now now… we won't be digging up that dead corpse that is the 'sync or not to sync' discussion 😉

@tektris so which solution worked for you? When I turn on Quant it allows me to insert a cue only on 1/4 (I can play with the cueing)
