New road map updated for 02/2023.
"Music with all rights free"
We're not talking here to make fun of me, my friend. We share our ideas, relax please.1
It is a surprise feature, come on you guys! :P0
I'm not making fun of you personally though, I'm picking apart your IDEAS.
Your idea relies on the assumption that every artist and copyright holder in the world should allow anyone to use, broadcast, copy and alter their intellectual property, for FREE.
It's a ludicrous idea, I can't put it any plainer than that and if you feel offended by my response, then try to understand why.0
If that's the feature that comes one day, let's talk about it in the appropriate title. :))1
"Back to 3.9, we’ve partnered with the platform Aslice to provide an integrated way for you to share earnings with the producers of the tracks you play by uploading your playlists directly from TRAKTOR. A transparent compensation system for musicians has always been important to us and our responsibility as part of the DJ community is to do our part in ensuring a fairer ecosystem. This partnership represents a significant step in our efforts to do just that. Find out more about Aslice here:
IDK if there's any topic about this but I found it interesting for your discussion...0
As expected, the latest distraction has arrived.
The wait for elastic beatgrids continues.1
Do you reckon 4.0? I think it will be. Hopefully new hardware. Although I do love my s4 mk3 and f1s combo0
Other than being potentially a high number (3.9), i dont see ANY sign of 4.0
I probably don't understand these things.
Should I upload a list on Aslice and give the authors a small share of my earnings for the songs they play?
Or does Tractor automatically top up for me?
I'm sorry, but I really don't understand. And I have to pay a small amount?
If so, that will be interesting, because we have a mandatory payment per year, per occasional or per CD copy, which is the payment of royalties to the authors' income.
In other words, we also pay royalties.
So it would be strange if we still had to pay after those.
No, so don't pick me apart, I really don't understand, thanks....0

If I understand correctly, this is a for-profit company collecting money for artists they have no relationship with--and they also take a slice for themselves.1
My interpretation of a 'fairer music ecosystem' is to enable Traktor to work flawlessly with any 3rd party hardware. Like the new Rane Four for instance.
But hey, who am I...2
We are looking for hope for fair music in a very different world instead of catching up with competitors.0
If you ignore the competition eventually it will be game over.0
Haha, oh wow.
Rekordbox just got released with stem separation.
Traktor had the hardware, had the stem control inside software, had the knowhow for live stem separation with tech and knowhow with iZotope. Needed to glue it all together.3
