Multis with Kontakt Player

Hi

trying komplete start, in cakewalk, before buying, i cant get it to work for good, the multi instrument is not working i daw, i have tryed all i can think of, is there some limitations in the free software?... i dont wanna bauy if i cant get it to work

    Hello,

    what have you done so far? I guess you have native access installed and all software within native access too. Then you need to tell cakewalk in preferences where the vst folder is located so it can scan for the native vst´s. In native access prefs\file management you can see where the vst folder is located. Then add it like described here:

    Yes all that is ok.. But I My daw i can only run instruments as standalone, wich is using resorses, when trying to grupe it.. It vont work.. In kontakt player i cant use multiinstrumens..

    Have you tried to read the manual, even if it is for kontakt player 6? You have to load instruments from the browser on the left side, not from the new tag browser, otherwise the instrument you´ve loaded before gets replaced.

    No this should work in kontakt 7 player too, the limitations are other things.

    What do you mean when you say the multis don't work? Multis usually imply that you have several MIDI / instrument tracks in your DAW with specific MIDI channels to play the different instruments. Check the maunal on multis and how they work.
