Installing NI Libraries outside of wines C Drive environment

Did a search and came up with zilch. Hoping to save some time etc.

Running Suse Tumbleweed Wine-staging 7.20

Everything works fine but I was curious If sample libraries can be stored on separate drive outside of wines C drive and still be accessed by Program,Drivers.vsts all in wine c:\.

Wine uses Downloads folder not within C:\ drive so...

Thanks for all the help, info and other comments,

Seneschie

    Hello,

you can simply set the library folder on native access in preferences. I have, for example, one SSD drive with one partition on it f:\ and there are all the libraries and sound packs installed

Thank you for the insight. Had many ideas on how to implement, load etc., had no idea whether it would work or not.

I'll give it a try and post back for posteriors sake :)

    Yup it works

Already had libraries installed on another disk. Renamed a lib folder in wine, pointed kontakt at the correct folder on seperate drive. Restarted kontakt and it works well. You just saved me a lot of work.

    Thanks again
