ISSUE: Kontakt 7.6 causing issues in Cubase 12.0.70

See the attached crash dump file from Cubase.

This dump is happening when closing Cubase with Kontakt 7 on the last track (I don't know if that makes a difference).

But I also had a project with a track with Kontakt 7 in it where Cubase would hang while loading the project when it got to the point of loading that track. The only way I could get the project to open was to rename the Kontakt vst3 in my plugins folder file so that it could not be loaded, but I haven't tried to replicate that.

This dump is happening when closing Cubase with Kontakt 7

This can be avoided if you first close the project and then exit Cubase. It is always better practice (i don't know why, but based on experience) to exit the program without a project loaded on it.

Yet, still this is a problem and probably a bug, so i think it is best to contact the NI technical team and report it. They should know how to read the dump file too (it is most probably that only very few forum members can read those...).

The forum is monitored by NI admins, however they are not the technical team. They just inform the technical team or who ever else need, however they are not here night and day, 24/7, as you can understand. Either way, the correct way to contact with a company it is not through a forum, but through their official support:
