How To Activate Sample Libraries If Still Using Kontakt 5?

I have migrated to a new PC, and I have a large project that used Kontakt 5.

There were sample libraries being used with Kontakt 5 that were activated successfully, but this was several years ago.

Migrating to a new system, I successfully installed Kontakt 5, but I cannot activate the sample libraries that were installed with it using the activation tab and Product Activation dialog that pops up even though I am entering correct info. Kontakt 5 does not use "Native Access" to register sample libraries like Kontakt 6. It never logs me in so that I can enter serial numbers. That means I can only use these sample libraries in demo mode.

I need to use Kontakt 5 because this project used it along with the libraries that were activated at the time. I cannot use Native Access with Kontakt 5 to activate the libraries with it. I must use Kontakt 5 or the many tracks in the project will not work. How do I activate these libraries in Kontakt 5?

Fix: I simply copied the Kontakt 5.dll file on the old computer where I had successfully activated my libraries years ago and then used it to replace the Kontakt 5.dll file with the same libraries I just installed on the new PC . After I did this and opened Kontakt 5 the libraries were showing as activated. So if anyone else needs to reinstall Kontakt 5 with sample libraries on a new PC don't delete the old Kontakt 5.dll file on your old PC because you'll need to use it to replace the Kontakt 5 player that gets installed.

    1. Install Kontakt 5 with NI installer.
    2. Install your sample libraries (they can't be activated for Kontakt 5 and will only run in demo mode).
    3. Replace the Kontakt 5.dll file that gets installed with the old Kontakt 5.dll that was installed on the PC used to activate the sample libraries.

    Hello,

open native access go to settings - lecacy products and activate them, then you maybe able to activate them. But there is no download anymore, you maybe have the dvd installers or have the HDD with the libraries and move them over or use this HDD. If it works i would highly recommend to print the tracks to audio for backup or change the instruments.

Latest version of Native Access doesn't take the free Kontakt 5 serial number. I don't think it can even communicate with Native Access. When you click "activate" on a sample library tab in Kontakt 5 a different dialog box pops up for you to log into account and then provide serial number, but looks like it can no longer connect to the same account I'm currently using.

I was hoping there was some way to plug the serial number into a registry setting or program file for Kontakt 5.

    You triggered the response :

If you want to try anything then at least make sure that the version 5 is actually registered to the account that you are logged into !

    Also ! :

Legacy downloads are over here (login required) , (I don't know if any of these are full installers or only updates) :

As far as I remember you use the player installer, it's the same as for the player, it just is then activated as full version with the serial. And you can't re register kontakt 5, you have to login with the account it was activated once.
