Which is the most basic controller I can connect a microphone to? Can I run FX on the mic? Thanks!
If you only need mic in, an audio interface is enough. If you also need the controller, all of them should have mic input
Deck Live input will do the trick.
If you route it through a traktor deck there will be a delay. And it's quite annoying to talk while hearing it. But you can put effects on it.
At least that's how it is on my S4 mk3.
Even the New X1 you think? Or even the Z1? Im asking because I don't do that much mixing and cues so I don't really need the bigger ones... I need two channels and a mic input with FX...
The x1 does not even have an sound interface. Z1 does not have any input either. You could have looked that up really quick.
S2 has 2 decks and a mic input. But I'm not 100% sure it gets routed back to traktor. At least some cheaper controllers from other companies just add mic to master and are not sending it back to the computer.
