No, it doesn't. NI states Rudiments needs 7.4 or above. A friend of mine also can't get Rudiments to work, and he's running 7.4.2.

Then likely the same issue. v7.4 of Kontakt is not supported on OS 10.15. Maybe it installs but based oin the info I can find and not having an old macOS version to try myself can only go based on the info available. When something does not work and there is something identified as not supported, that would be the most obvious thing to fix first.
Ideally tho, your friend should post on the forums here so the info isn't second hand

There have been several people posting here who were not able to install Rudiments either because their version of Kontakt and/or system were too low and in all cases upgrading these fixed it. Also being on Catalina meant NA wouldn’t allow updates to the latest Kontakt

Where did you read that? Pretty sure it’s 7.5.2
