Hot Cue mapping doesnt work as expected

I am trying to map hotcue from a custom made hardware which sends CC01, CH1, 071.

And below are my setting for the hot cue

Add in -> track deck-> cue -> Select/set store hot cue

Type: Button

Interaction: hold

Set as value: hotcue 2

Assignment: Deck A

The problem is-When I send the CC the track position never jumps to the cue point(hotcue2). Basically it does nothing. I am sure that I am sending the above CC command from the controller as that has been verified. What else has to be done

You are sending CC value of 127 yet Traktor assigned CC.71 is likely the issue.

Ensure you are sending 0 and 127 for Off and ON messages.

Did you map the midi signal with "learn" or did you select it via the dropdown menu?

What type of CC message are you sending to Traktor? Is it momentery (hold) button or a toggle button?

I have mapped it manually

I do get it for the first instance after that nothing

And I just want to jump to that perticular CUE point when I send the CC message. Thats all I want :)

CC 127 -> CC 0 Sequentially for this to work?

Oh CC127 is the HOLD value and its not coming out of it?

Yup, you only triggered the hotcue once (button press = value 127) and have it locked up until new track is loaded. This needs to be followed with value 0 (button release = value 0)

Just one thing to add

I had to do the following to get it working

Send 127 ->>> Send 127 ->>> Send 0

The above sequence works perfectly
