How to map Loop Activation to the FLUX button of the Traktor Z2?
Hello dear community,
I am new here and maybe I just could not find a post with the answer to my question.
I was wondering if there is a way to enable and disable the Loop Activation function by pressing the FLUX button on my Traktor Z2 mixer.
I am using Traktor Pro 2.11.5 and currently this function is on the keyboard shortcut Shift+Ü for Deck-A and Shift+Ä for Deck-B, but unfortunately I can't figure out how to change that to the FLUX button.
I am looking forward to your help.
Blessings and many thanks,
C.S.P.

I don't have a z2 but i assume it works like this:
Go into preferences, controller manager. Select the Z2 mapping in the dropdown menu at the top. It should be empty.
Near the bottom go to 'Add In'. Select the command 'Deck Common --> Loop --> Loop Active On'
Select Deck A for Assignment, Control: Button, Interaction Mode: Toggle.
Map it to the left FLUX button.
Go to 'Add Out' and select the topmost line (which says Loop Active On) for LED feedback.
Repeat for deck B.
EDIT: Make sure you check the box 'Override'.

oh for sure.. makes the whole process a lot easier now for me and i don‘t have to use my computer anymore 🤗 moving with the trackpad during mixing is kinda slowing things down. thx a lot again 🙏🏻 you made my day!!

I assume you know you can engage and disengage a loop by pressing down on the Z2 loop encoders.
I have remapped my FLUX buttons to be PLAY buttons.

Exactly what I was going to write (both parts, I use Flux for play/pause too)
You can also use SHIFT and the loop encoder to activate an upcoming loop.

thank you, but as far as i know it doesn't work with already programmed cue points. i was looking for a way to activate the cued loop during playback (please correct me if i'm wrong ;-))
