Using F1 to play a set?

I was thinking to use the F1 to play a set. Could I load up full songs in the different slots and let them play? I can fade in and out from the four channel as the songs played.

I understand this would be basic djing, but the party ive been invited is a viynl set up. So for me to play my digital files I need a small footprint. Computer and the F1 plugged into their mixer.

Anyone else try this before?

Can the F1 control the track decks? Or only remix decks?

Any tips or suggestions would be welcomed.

thanks

With default mapping and remix decks?

I don't know man. Does not sound like fun.

Maybe you can find a mapping where the multiple decks a mapped. Sadly https://maps.djtechtools.com/ is currently down.

Try to buy a Xone K2, you can find tons of decent mapping. Or get a Traktor X1.

Check out this mapping from DJ Endo. I think it will be perfect for that scenario.

If you need even more controls like Pad FX, Deck Focus or Global modes then check out F1 Ninja.

Thank you for the responses! Good ideas. The DJ Endo mapping looks perfect but I can not find it anywhere? The link on his website is not present.

Does anyone know an alternative website that might have the mapping?

I will wait till May 15th to see what DJ Techtools has on their site.

    Thanks again!

    Morning!

DJtechtools is back up and running. I have gone to the midi section to look for F1 mappings. I couldnt find any. Im not sure if they cleared out a bunch of mappings or are slowly adding them back.

I can not find DJ Endo's mapping to purchase either.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    thanks

To achieve seamless transitions between songs, you can use the F1's performance pads to set and trigger cue points, loops, and even use effects. By setting cue points and loops in advance, you can easily mix and fade in and out from the different track decks as the songs play. Additionally, the F1 allows you to adjust the volume levels, apply filters, and manipulate the EQ of each track deck for smoother transitions.
