Just installed Native Access on a new machine, seems to think I have access to nothing but legacy.

Setting up a new machine, set up native access, definitely using the correct login (this one), but all I see in the main window is:

Oops ... looks like nothing came up for ""

If I turn on legacy products, they all show up fine.

I have nothing in my search bar.

Am running as administrator.

Hi @Jeremy_NI I heard back from the IT department at the client's offices - they were able to fix the issue, and they shared some info which may be of use to you should any other customers experience the same issues.

I expect there aren't too many people who are using your products on computers that are behind corporate firewalls! But there are a bunch of us in the videogame industry that are, and with security getting tougher and tougher I expect it will be an increasing issue.

    Here's what they told me:

"they either do certificate pinning, or they use some built in CA certificate store instead of system certificate store, so with ssl decryption on our firewalls server certificates were not trusted by the application (because they are signed by our own CA). Once I excluded some NI domains from ssl decryption the app started to work."

    Hello,

what do you expect to see? And what do you see if you look online on the "my products page".

Are you running Native Access as admin? How to Run a Program as an Administrator

@Uwe303 Hi, the permissions instructions seem to be massively out of date, the options dont match what I see in current Windows 10, so I was unable to add any permissions to NA.

@Jeremy_NI as mentioned in my original post, I am indeed running as admin.

And have you tried this, to add native access there: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/add-an-exclusion-to-windows-security-811816c0-4dfd-af4a-47e4-c301afe13b26#ID0EBF=Windows_10

Hey @Uwe303 I have a 3rd party antivirus running so those instructions don't follow, but I'll look into the application itself.

    HOWEVER

I realise I really should have mentioned this earlier, and apologies for only bringing this up - I am on a company network, so there is a very good chance something their end is blocking stuff and causing these issues - something I didn't initially consider as the error seemed unrelated. I've submitted a ticket to them so will find out soon hopefully if its nothing to do with the software itself.

If it is that, I guess it might be worth explaining to NI what the problem was? I guess if other people have the same issue it might be good for you to know.

@JeremyCorbett Thanks for sharing the info, I'll forward that to the Native Access team. It could be useful indeed for users in the same boat!

Just dropping here because I found out I have the same problem. But I get 2 libraries installed without legacy option, 4 with legacy, although 2 weeks ago there was no problem and I have like 70 installed.

My computer is NOT behind any kind of firewall and I didn't change the hardware during these 2 weeks. If we think it is a totally different problem, I will move out of this thread.

    Thanks a bunch!

@JReca Tbh, I'm not sure if your issue is related or not to the original post. As there were no similar reports yet (to my knowledge), I think the best option is to contact our Native Access specialists here:  http://bit.ly/NIsupport_install Please include the result of your support tool, that could speed up the process.
