all my categories are gone?

i would like to add, if this is permissions issue, I would like to know what folder needs permissions? Kk and k7 both are running as admin.

Yeah, I found the same article and deleted those two folders , setup kk to run as admin always, and also setup k7 full version to run as administrator then ran kk2.8.1 it started scanning all the plug-ins again, and all the libraries, and still build everything under other category. This is so bizarre. I just wanna know where the category information is stored. I can go check, and see if it’s accessible and setup correctly. Obviously, it has permissions to create the database for all the instruments and all the tags on the right are still there. Only the left side category is not populating. The vendor is populating. I don’t want to reinstall everything it’s going to take forever.
