Two differents maschine on one licence

I have a maschine mk2 and I would like to know if a buy a mk3 maschine, will I be able to use both maschines using only one software for both on my laptop

Ex: use my mk3 that I have in my studio with my laptop and also be able to use my mk2 that I have at home with the same laptop. Both machine will not be connected at the same time on my laptop

The way I understand it, it will work fine, although you may have to switch the preferences when you switch between devices.
