Massive presets in Maschine - can't load with hardware

I am having issues with Massive in Maschine 1.8.2 running on Windows 10.

When i start Machine i see the following error:

I can load presets by clicking on the Massive logo:

And then using the Massive browser.

However, I can't load presets using the hardware or Maschine Browser:

Without getting the following error:

This happens with all presets from all Massive libraries but other NI products work fine.

The library paths seem fine:

What I have noticed is that the Massive path is in "Program file (x86)". However if I load the X86 Maschine version then it won't load Massive at all.

I have reinstalled Massive but no change.

Any thoughts? I can still just about work, but not being able to access presets from the hardware is far from ideal.

Yes, the plugin paths are correct, the plugin itself loads and I can load presets from within the plugin itself. It's only the Maschine browser and hardware that can't load the presets.

Presets attempt to load using the VST3 version of the plugins (if supported), so make sure sure that the following path is set to scan in Maschine “C:\program files\Common files\VST3”

Do you use 32 or 64 bit maschine? Maybe that's an issue.

I am using 64 bit, if I use 32 bit Massive won't load at all:

I have now noticed that the same problem is happening with Replika presets.

I think the VST3 part is an probably an issue. If the presets in the browser are pointing to vst3 and you're using this ancient version of maschine that doesn't support vst3; then it won't be able to load the plugin.

I'm not entirely sure how the browser handles presets. If I were in your position, I'd try removing the vst3 path from the plugin list.

I have just tried this, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. The plug-in itself loads fine, and presets load fine from within the plugin, just not from Maschine software or hardware.

I will be looking to upgrade to Maschine 2, but funds are a little short right now. Need to save up a bit.
