As of tomorrow, Mac users will be able to upgrade to MacOS 13 Ventura... So far I haven't found any info here about Native Instruments' plugins' compatibility... Any info?
Cheers,
CJ
It's not listed here, so do not upgrade for now:
Many other companies also don't support it yet.
We're still currently performing tests on our products to bring them to Ventura as soon as possible. I'd also advise against upgrading too soon to keep your products compatible for the time being.
Check out our macOS 13 Ventura Compatibility Statement for more information.
Don't do it you guys, the Ventura Update, (which I only did because I previously updated my old macbook to Monterey 12.6 and didn't realize that my Imac 2020, Intelcore, is allowed to upgrade to Ventura) messed up ALL my libraries and deleted EVERYTHING (about 0.8 TB of Libraries).
Even my backup, which is on a portable SSD that was constantly connected (thats my fault i know) got wiped clean. Reinstalling the libraries is only possible for SOME plugins, most NI plugins for KONTAKT are FINE, but many 3rd party plugins, which run through NativeAccess cannot be updated yet, or are just bugged.
Much less other plugins and vsts (forget EastWest / Waves / Realitone / Softtube / 8Dio)
Cinesamples libraries work fine, I haven't tried Spitfire yet.
That is very, very odd. M1 Pros seem to have more issues than the regular M1's, could be due to that.
Are you running Ableton in Rosseta mode? Have you tried just removing Transient Master?
There's now an official thread for discussion around the new MacOS Ventura ⬇️
