Fix for KK S88 Mk2, no longer follows track selection in DAW.

My Kontrol S88 Mk2 only offers controls, light guides, screens for the last loaded instrument in my DAW. KK interface to NKS features seems to be limited to the last instrument I loaded.

As I switch from track to track in my DAW, the screens and controls on the KB stay fixed on the last loaded instrument. Also, when the KB is in Mixer mode, the display is blank, even though the knobs and buttons seem to interact with the DAW.

I tried the revert to KK 2.9.6 suggestions, but that doesn't seem to change anything.

Is there a proven process, whether using KK3.x or KK2.9.6 where I can restore my system to where the S88 MK2 KB still integrates with KK based instruments in my DAW on all the tracks, not just the last one loaded? And while we're at it if it restores the mixer display, that would be a bonus.

Komplete Kontrol 3.5 (also tried downgrading to 2.9.6)

Thanks for the info. I had been through those helpful steps long ago.

I am getting good support (although, yet to be effective) from the NI support team for which I am quite thankful. We are still working on some details, but I will post here as soon as the solution is revealed.

Hello,

with cubase there was the same issue if you edited the host controls, there is a contractor l called something like nik800 if I remember correctly. Have you double checked that you have selected the correct midi device out for the DAW control integration? I think it's most likely the issue here, the keyboard gets no information back from the DAW.

Well, you could check the steps for Studio One Pro here: How to Set Up a Kontrol Keyboard with Your DAW Try to remove the device, then use the reconnect function. Did this help?
