Cubase 15 currently has a bug that a few people have reported where each time you start Cubase up, it adds another Midi controller for The S series under the MIDI Remote tab.
https://forums.steinberg.net/t/kontrol-s61-mk-3-creates-new-midi-remote-controllers-every-day/1014284
I've simply been deleting all but one of them most times I log in, today, half asleep, I deleted the script rather than the device.
I've gone through the S88 instructions to add the S series to Cubase, but it's already there in Cubases Studio setup (under legacy devices?) . I tried deleting it and re-adding it as per the instructions here
https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406832231441-How-to-Set-Up-a-Kontrol-Keyboard-with-Your-DAW
and this puts the device back (under legacy devices) but if I click on Cubases Midi Remote tab, it isn't there, hence doesn't work (no DAW or Plugin control from Cubase)
Anyone any suggestions please or would it be better asked on Cubase forum?
The keyboard plays fine under Cubase so it's recognising the device so I probably didn't need to delete and re add it anyway. But done to make sure all channels tried.
Thanks
