compatibility of komplete audio 6 with zoom meetings through Ableton

in Komplete General

my friend of mine was giving me a music lesson through Ableton live and the Zoom meeting . i couldn't hear his track through the ableton and its seems that my Komplete Audio 6 soundcard has some compatibility issues . i can hear reguar Spotify / youtube music through the card by my headphones but when i comes to listen to his music from ableton to the zoom application i cannot hear a thing …
he said he doesn't had that problem with the other students so it might be because of my sound card … i have all the updats for the card i guess .

i'd like to hear some tips and help with it.

    Hello,

    if you can hear him talking then the issue is definitely on his side, if you use zoom too to transport the audio of the daw.

    I can't even hear him but I can definitely hear music from my computer .

    From what I know, he needs to send me his music through the "Zoom meeting" option which appears on the in the output list of the Ableton

    For all I know then this can be of the usual problems where people use ASIO drivers that grabs exclusive access to sound in Windows and why you can maybe not hear the sound of other Windows app (e.g. browser with Youtube), But I do not know the first thing about Zoom meeting or how it works and I frankly haven't played around with what drivers can be used and what not for the Komplete Audio 6.

    But immediately then I advice to check the computer sound driver setup.
