As per MK3 online manual:

https://www.native-instruments.com/ni-tech-manuals/maschine-mk3-manual/en/working-with-patterns-and-clips.html#recording-modulation

Screenshot here:

What I actually see here:

I don't see select/erase mode as per documentation.

Selection is however obvious (just de-click the pencil), but I have no idea about erase, although I can select and hit the delete key for multiple points.

(Just talking about 3.2 software here).
Maybe manual needs updating?

Thx…

Probably just outdated… I dont think we have "Eraser" anymore, select is just the normal mouse pointer so, it makes sense to just have 1 button toggle for the two possible modes, in Maschine 2.

In Maschine 3 there are 4 mouse pointer options, but NI decided that the only way to switch is to use a right-click drop-down menu 🤷‍♂️ So they left the pencil icon there, feeling lonely.

Cherry on top is the Pencil that now doubles as the Eraser only working on one Note at a time, or the fact that we can barely grab the notes edges, or that the pointy part of the mouse changes making it difucult to point, etc…

Apparently, Maschine's userbase couldn't care less about decent UX/GUI because I am always the only one asking to fix such things.
