M+ is super stable now and most features in M3 are for desktop only anyway, so you’re the only thing ”holding back” tbh. Just do your thing and M3 for M+ will come.

So what’s the point of having a standalone?

Well, I do like using a computer – especially in the studio. But on stage, I’ll also have one running Traktor Pro 4, as part of a nice hybrid setup.

I just really want to play my Maschine projects live using the Maschine+. 😊

    You can still do that!

Sorry, but no – there is no compatibility between M3 software and Maschine+. You can, of course, open a project made on Maschine+ in M3, but not the other way around. The only option is to bounce everything to audio and recreate the project manually on Maschine+.

BTW It’s completely absurd to have to chase them for information and support that was promised many months ago…

or you can use M2 and M3 on desktop side by side and base your live stuff in M2 desktop and M+ for now, as the difference between M2 and M3 is mostly functions only available on desktop anyway. The problem isn’t that M3 doesn’t yet exist for M+. The obstacle is really just the one you create yourself. You can perform standalone on M+ and refine your projects on M2 desktop. You CHOOSE to see obstacle and stop yourself from actually do what you want to do. And when M3 for M+ comes you can just migrate your projects from M2 and M+ in 3 clicks. But hey, some people see possibilities others see problems.

But hey, some people see possibilities others see problems.

Meanwhile, you’re acting like someone’s lawyer, trying to convince others to accept your workarounds and workflow.

I’ve been trying to stay polite and kind, but to be honest, I was already thinking about asking you to stop a few posts ago. What you’re doing is rude and unnecessary.

And finally — this topic is not about me or my workflow. It’s about Maschine 3 on the M+.

what does this remind you of….

a person using Maschine with no quantize on — every move’s offbeat, jittery, and out of sync. One minute they’re laying down a smooth groove, next they’re undoing it like they never meant to press record. Just when you think they’ve locked into a tempo, they switch the BPM

I'm with djadidai on this. No, the + isn't compatible with Mashine 3 desktop yet - but that doesn't stop people using Maschine 2 if they need to swap work back and forth.

3 is barely any different to 2 at this stage anyway, so it's not like you're missing out on much by using 2.

It's not "cumbersome" to use 2. We were all doing that anyway, before 3 came along.

Gosh, how did we ever manage?! 🤣

Yeah man, stop crying, managing a 2 versions is cool, I even use Maschine V1 just so I have more stuff to manage… It's a blessing. Can we also have Maschine 4 but make it only work during the day? So at night I use Maschine v3, v2, and v1 then during the day v4. Now that would be super fun.

Also, blue is much prettier color than yellow, not an opinion, its a fact.

Topic of this post is Maschine 3 on M+.

Meanwhile, some of you seem determined to stir up unnecessary drama and derail the conversation — for reasons beyond me (and frankly, I don’t care to know).

If you’re feeling particularly arrogant or have some “hot takes” to share, maybe try keeping them to yourself this time.

Also, just so we’re clear: I don’t like hip hop, boom bap, or anything in that vein — so opinions from producers focused on that genre don’t exactly carry much weight for me.

And honestly — why do you even care what kind of questions people ask or what expectations they have? The promised support for Maschine 3 on M+ is still nowhere to be seen, months after it was first mentioned. That’s a FACT — unlike most of what you’re going on about.

    😀😂💁
