Hello,

can't download current version of Kontakt 8 Player Update and Komplete Kontrol Update. Error message "Download failed". I am working with Win11 Pro 24H2 Build 26100.4061 and using Native Access 3.18.1 (current version). Any ideas how to fix this issue?

Hello guys, sorry for the issue.

Please keep in mind, that it is not possible to disable the Native Access from auto-updating itself.

If you have the "Download Failed" issue in Windows, sending the direct download links for the affected products would be the best option. So, I would kindly suggest to create a support ticket or open a chat support using the link below:

    I hope this helps☺️

I have the same issue, not with Kontakt 8, but with any product, giving the same error "Download Failed". I cannot download any product with Native Access since it updated to 3.18.1. I have tried reinstalling and didn't help. I have also tried installing the previous version, which downloads products correctly. However, since Native Access auto-updates, it stops downloading any product again after relaunching.

@Mert_NI , Could you please take a look at Iltirtar's problem here ?

I forgot to mention: I use Windows 11, and the version of Native Access that works correctly is 3.14.0. If there is a way to disable Native Access automatically updating to 3.18.1, that would be a temporary solution.

I contacted support. They asked me to use a Support Tool that gathers information about the system. I run the mentioned tool. I then realized that maybe the information would not be representative of the problem, since I downgraded to Native Access 3.14.0 in order to be able to work… so, I updated again to 3.18.1 with the intention to run the Support Tool with the failing Native Access version installed. What was my surprise when I noticed that now 3.18.1 is working and downloading products correctly. I don't know what I have done during the troubleshooting process that fixed the issue, but I have had no updates in Windows nor changes in hardware. And I am sure that reinstalling 3.18.1 didn't solve the issue per se, because I tried several times before. I wonder if running the Support Tool they provided did something (although It shouldn't, since it is only an information collection tool, in theory).
