Audio Setup --> Steinberg USB ASIO --> Output Routing

Hi Folks,

am I wrong? ….. I had to setup my Traktor Kontrol S4 …. there're several options to connect…. due to my other NI devices (which all connected same way) I choose "Internal" my Steinberg UR22C ASIO and routed the output Master to UR22C Mix left/right (choosing Monitor or Record → will move the selected interface from Master so it's only possible to choose 1 per selection) … perfect ….. but there's no sound on the Traktor Kontrol S4 Phones -jack…

So I assume (tried) Audio Setup -> choosing the "Traktor Kon…. WDM AUDIO…" it's going to provide me signal on the Traktor Kontrol S4 Phones -jack … BUT I will get the output master signal only via the main out ports……

Is there any way to get the monitor signal (Phones) back to the monitor output-jack …or somehow seperated from the main AUDIO (if I am using an external Audio Interface) ……
Appreciate if you have a good idea?

Best regards and cheers,

No, not out of the box.

There are 3rd party apps that can combine audio devices. But for me they always caused trouble. Asio4all or VB-Audio VoiceMeeter Banana. They can create a virtual device with both the s4 and UR22.

Maybe you can connect the out of the s4 into an in on the UR22? I'm not sure if that can be routed directly out again.
