PURCHASE AND INSTALLED PRODUCTS NOT VISIBLE IN KONTAKT 8 LIBRARY

I am unable to see most of my purchased products in Kontakt 8, generall products purchased before upgrade to Kontakt 8

They are all showing as Installed in Native Access. I cannot see how to update the database of installed products.

How do I add these products?

    Thanks for your help,

    I can only see 56 Instruments in the Library View of Kontakt 8 whereas, in Native Access I have the whole of my purchased instruments including Native Instruments Collectors Edition and most of Heavyocity products all showing as Installed, but (468 Items showing i Natice Access). The ones showing are mainly those NI purchases since Kontakt 8 upgrade, No Heavyocity Products are available in Kontakt 8 except 2 items purchased recently.

    All the missing items are showing in Kontakt 8 in the options / Libraries and are ticked. There used to be a "rebuild" option but now it only shows "Launch Native Access"

    How can I reliably rebuild the Library in Kontakt 8. I remember a few years ago I had to remove the database and rebuild the library, but I can't remember the steps I had to take.

    The only other option would be to re-install all the products using Native Access, but this would require downloading all the instrument files again and this would take weeks.

    So can you explain step by step how to rebuild the Library?

    Well - I was hoping you could list (or screencap) some of the instruments that you are not seeing so we can determine what they are.

    And judging by your first paragraph - I think there may be a misunderstanding of what a "product" is - within Native Access. Just because you have 468 items in NA - does not mean you will see 468 items in Kontakt.

    ONLY Kontakt instruments appear in Kontakt. There are many other product types in a Komplete Collectors Edition bundle that - by design - will never appear in Kontakt.

    I would need to see a sampling of what you "think" should be in Kontakt - to know whether it "should" be in Kontakt.

    I attach a pdf with images explaining the "missing" items. I hope this makes the issue clearer so you can assist further. I much appreciate your input.

    In the left side of the table are sample images of the instruments showing as installed in Native Access on my system (Mac Studio 2022 M1 Max 64Gb Sonoma 14.6.1), In each row is an image of the of the current default Library view in Kontakt 8, showing the available and not available instruments, with explanations.

    I apologise for not being clearer in my terminology, I should have referred to the items in question as Instruments.

    All the missing items that I wish to be able to access are Kontakt Instruments and have always been accessible in Kontakt 7

    Thanks for the the PDF. And yes - I can see the issue that you see.

    Unfortunately - I am not a Mac user and I know that there are a number of roadblocks that Mac OS puts in your way to get things working correctly. Like Full Disk Access etc.

    Here on Windows 10 - I have 81 Kontakt libraries installed with both Kontakt 7 Full and Kontakt 8 Player present and I see all 81 in both Library view and Classic view in K8 Player.

    You may need to open a ticket with NI Support for your case - as I suspect there may be a few specific settings you may need to make before everything displays correctly.

    Thanks, I have checked that on the Mac Kontakt 8 has full disk access, but what I cannot see is how to trigger a full rebuild of the Kontakt 8 Libraries Database, I seems that the install of Kontakt 8 does not trigger the addition of existing libraries. I will try to log a support issue.

    reinitialize the KONTAKT Database , please run Kontakt standalone after reset to rebuild the DB

    .
