I will try to not write anything about the frustrating parts of the process, but keep to the facts (but oh my god…). Using a Mac M4, Sequoia 15.1
So I caved and bought Kontakt. Had some errors when using it with the libraries that came with it, but after that it worked. Great.
Decided to get the symphony series. Put them all in a queue (mistake) to download. Came back after a while to see that there was an error with installing. I might have refreshed after this (mistake).
At this time I moved the content location in the Native Acess settings, and moved all libraries to an external disk. Eventhough all the Symphony series were in my download folder, I removed them, and tried an install again. THe files are downloaded, but installing moves left and right, but doesnt seem to be picked up.
So I read the forum. I gave the NKT Daemon Full Access to all folders (….). I gave it access to local network. Restarted my Mac. Same thing, download yes, install no.
Removed all download files again. In Activity Monitor I killed all Native and NTKDaemon activity. Restarted Mac, removed Native Access. Tried again with 1 library. The same thing. Nothing happens.
I have read most (closed) topics, and think I have done every step mentioned. The only thing I couldnt get working, was to mount/install the downloaded files, cause nothing happens when double clicking them.
Is there someone that has an idea what I can do next? I really would like to give it a chance, but am seriously wondering what I have gotten myself into. Is this common?
