I can't use my $25 voucher. HELP!

After spending an additional $400 to "update" my $1700 software package, I at least go a whopping $25 voucher. So I went to NI, found that they waited until I purchased Komplete 15 to release Nightshade, and so I thought I'd buy it with the voucher. Nope, you have to spend $49 it says. Fine, so I find another $29 dollar VI and together they equal $59, so I add the voucher and nope. I don't know what else to do and of course, there's no such thing as NI support so I ask you, lovely people, if you know what I'm doing wrong. Besides ever buying this ****** companies products.

You need to check the conditions of the voucher. They're generally not usable on a bunch of items including items on sale, upgrades, cross grades, edu licenses, hardware and NKS partner products.
What was the $29 instrument you added?

Every NI e-voucher issued comes with a fine print of its Terms & Conditions. Have you read them yet?
Anyway, here is NI Support article on I Have Issues with My E-Voucher for your reference.

Hey, thanks for answering. So I checked that out, and it just said that I had to go to the NI website and "load up" on products, and that they had to be at least $49 or more. It doesn't say that the individual products have to be $49 or more, and it does specify that you "load up," suggesting that you purchase more than one thing and that the total should be $49. I added two $29 items, and the total was about $59, so it should have worked. But didn't. Now what? I'm going to read your Issues with the E-voucher thing now, so maybe I'll have figured it out by then. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

Relevant excerpts from NI Support article on E-Voucher Terms & Conditions:
(1) This e-voucher is valid on all Native Instruments software downloads of products with a respective minimum price of 49,00 € available at the NI Online Shop. It is NOT valid on updates, upgrades, crossgrades, edu licenses, hardware, NKS partner products, or products that are part of a special offer.
(5) Only one e-voucher can be used per product.

Pretty much sums that up perfectly.
Pick a single product that is 49.00 (or higher) and rock on.

As we already discussed multiple times in other threads and we already reported to NI itself, the terms and conditions are not well written and can cause confusions on the thing last posts are showing you: voucher must be used on a single product and that product must be of the minimum value expressed.
On this, the support article is a little more clear, with that mentioned “respective”.
Unluckily, they don’t seem interested in making things clearer for users (and in avoiding these situations to happen again and again)

there's no such thing as NI support
Well, there is support and my colleagues will be able to help you figuring this out, get in touch here: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us
And as understandable your frustration on the topic might be, no need to use this kind of language.

Respective
adjective
- Relating to two or more persons or things regarded individually; particular.
This e-voucher is valid on all Native Instruments software downloads of products with a respective minimum price of 49,00 € available at the NI Online Shop.
Tell me again how it's "obvious" that this means a single product selling for $49 more. Instruments, downloads, and products ( I've made them bold and italicized them in case you don't see them ) are all in the plural form of those words. And like it says at the top, which is the first entry found in the dictionary of the definition of respective, it plainly states "two or more persons or things". This company should be taken out into the street and shot. Or perhaps I should be for getting involved with them in the first place. In any case it doesn't matter as nobady who works at a ****** company like this is going to do a damn thing for someone who just dropped an additional $400 on top of the first additional $400 for an update on the original purchase of $1700 I made 4 years ago. I've had Spitfire stuff for twice that long and not one was asked to pay any additional money, oh, and they have actual customer service reps, human ones who respond to emails. ****** this ****** company but thanks to all you who tried to help me.

From Google's AI:
"Respective price" means the price associated with each individual item, person, or entity that has been mentioned. It implies that different prices are being considered for different things.
Elaboration: The word "respective" signifies a relationship to something or someone separately. When combined with "price," it indicates that the price being discussed is not a single, unified figure, but rather a unique price for each specific item or entity mentioned

"You make very good points regarding this subject, and I am sorry that I am unable to give you a definitive answer on whether or not a cheese sandwich requires cheese"- Chat GPT. These AI LLM's say dumb ****** all the time what's your point? I already conceded that NI is a corporate hellmouth that cares not a wit about its customers. I also conceded that no matter how right I am about the ambiguity in the statement regarding the voucher's "conditions," which are ridiculous, as there are maybe 2 or 3 $49 products that aren't part of one of the many other conditions mentioned, it wouldn't move the needle towards me getting a deal anyway. As always the coorporate ****** tards win and I get stuck with a bunch of morons filling my emails with semantics and the type of nonsensical arguments usually reserved by lawyers to make it near impossible to understand what you are signing. Just like when I bought this ****** in the first place, the literal devil was hidding in the details and now he's come to collect.
