I can't use my $25 voucher. HELP!

After spending an additional $400 to "update" my $1700 software package, I at least go a whopping $25 voucher. So I went to NI, found that they waited until I purchased Komplete 15 to release Nightshade, and so I thought I'd buy it with the voucher. Nope, you have to spend $49 it says. Fine, so I find another $29 dollar VI and together they equal $59, so I add the voucher and nope. I don't know what else to do and of course, there's no such thing as NI support so I ask you, lovely people, if you know what I'm doing wrong. Besides ever buying this ****** companies products.

You need to check the conditions of the voucher. They're generally not usable on a bunch of items including items on sale, upgrades, cross grades, edu licenses, hardware and NKS partner products.

What was the $29 instrument you added?

Every NI e-voucher issued comes with a fine print of its Terms & Conditions. Have you read them yet?

Anyway, here is NI Support article on I Have Issues with My E-Voucher for your reference.

Hey, thanks for answering. So I checked that out, and it just said that I had to go to the NI website and "load up" on products, and that they had to be at least $49 or more. It doesn't say that the individual products have to be $49 or more, and it does specify that you "load up," suggesting that you purchase more than one thing and that the total should be $49. I added two $29 items, and the total was about $59, so it should have worked. But didn't. Now what? I'm going to read your Issues with the E-voucher thing now, so maybe I'll have figured it out by then. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

@Jeremy_NI any suggestions on this? It looks like the two products should qualify, but Im never sure with NI vouchers!

Relevant excerpts from NI Support article on E-Voucher Terms & Conditions:

    (1) This e-voucher is valid on all Native Instruments software downloads of products with a respective minimum price of 49,00 € available at the NI Online Shop. It is NOT valid on updates, upgrades, crossgrades, edu licenses, hardware, NKS partner products, or products that are part of a special offer.

    (5) Only one e-voucher can be used per product.

Pretty much sums that up perfectly.

Pick a single product that is 49.00 (or higher) and rock on.

As we already discussed multiple times in other threads and we already reported to NI itself, the terms and conditions are not well written and can cause confusions on the thing last posts are showing you: voucher must be used on a single product and that product must be of the minimum value expressed.

On this, the support article is a little more clear, with that mentioned “respective”.

Unluckily, they don’t seem interested in making things clearer for users (and in avoiding these situations to happen again and again)
