Session Guitar Mint won't show up in Logic

Hi all,

So, I purchased Session Guitar Mint, followed the download instructions through Native Access, then loaded up a session in Logic Pro, only to find that Session Guitar Mint was nowhere to be seen. Not in an the AU generators, not in my Kontakt player, nowhere. I tried to locate the component file, and it was nowhere to be found. I've reinstalled the instrument (3 times at this point), and still nothing. Searching my computer high and low, and there's just no component file, and no other solutions I can find. Any tips from the community would be greatly appreciated!

There's no AU plugin for Mint as it runs in Kontakt. The first thing to do is to run Kontakt standalone and check that Mint is showing there.

If it's not showing in Kontakt standalone and you have the latest Kontakt 7/8 stop reading here and let us know what versions of everything you're running - OS, Kontakt etc

Assuming it's showing in Kontakt standalone check again in Kontakt in Logic and see if it's appeared. If not check that the version of Kontakt that's being loaded into Logic is the same as the standalone version.

@mykejb hey thanks for the reply!

Man, the solution was so simple all along! It looks like the Kontakt player was outdated (I believe I was still using 6), so I just got Kontakt 8 going and it showed right up.

Born in the computer generation, and awful at computers. 🤌
