Hi there.
So, as the title sais I start Maschine+, browse to "user" then I see 4 Expansions that I have on my plugedin USB stick at the back side of Maschine+. I can prehear most of the sounds/groups/loop but when I try to load a sound/sample or so I allways geht the "missing sample" error.

my previous steps where as following:
1. insert a usb stick in Maschine+

2. Let Maschine+ format the stick

3. go to my pc and copy the expansion on the root folder of the usb stick. like for example: E:\Aquarius Earth Library

4. plug usb stock back in Maschine+ > the it askes me where I do want to create a new folder. I have the choise between "SD Card" and "Maschine+". When I select "SD Card" some sub folders are show but I tried some and non does work. So I select "Maschine+"

5. The I go browsing while selecting "user" the 4 new Expansions apear but as said, I cannot load them.

Is this a nown problem? I hope not :-) cheers

Maschine Expansions are licensed content which appear as Factory content not User content and must be installed.

    SETTINGS > Library > Available > [INSTALL]

    Maschine+ Manual Chapter 7.1.

This isn’t Akai – you can’t use Maschine Expansions as regular folders with data. You need to install them as licensed content inside the unit, as my colleagues mentioned earlier – under the Library tab in the Settings menu.

That's not the correct way to install expansions. Please read the manual.

    hi there. @PK The DJ

I checked the manual, specifically this parts:

    7.2.1. Working with Storage Devices
    8.3. Accessing User Content
.2.3. Opening Files from Your SD Card

but I cant figure out why you said that I did something wrong. One interesting thing ist, dass the expansions on my usb stick ar shown without gallery image and the groups (as said) cannot be loaded BUT I can successfully load sounds, loops and one shots from these user expansions.

    cheers

Then you need a larger SD card. What else is stored on that SD card. I can’t believe that adding a couple of Expansions already exceeds the space of the 64GB stock card.

@ozon I beleve its an32 gb card inside a maschine +. Mine has only 1 gb left and I just installed some expansions. But they can take like 1,5 gb each.

Maybe there are some not needed date in a download folder inside maschine? I never pluged it to my computer, so I might have to try this out.

    Cheers

If you bought the Maschine+ new, it should come with an 64GB SD card.

    https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/maschine/production-systems/maschine-plus/specifications/

    How many Expansions are installed?

If the SD card is indeed only 32GB , you did not receive the original card. Anyway it’s a good idea to get a larger high quality full size SD card by a reputable brand.

If you bought a used M+, the previous owner might have put their own sample libraries on the card and forgotten to remove them. Or there might be failed downloads in the Download directory. Best way to reclaim all the space would be to back up your Projects/Groups/Sounds/Samples (basically the Maschine 2 directory), format the card, and start from scratch.

I connected Maschine + to my pc. I have 64 GB SD as you guys said. Download folder is empty.

26 Expansions are intalled and only 1GB left - so then I'm afraid I cannot install more of them :-(

You really need much more free space on the card to even be able to install (correctly).

My Maschine+ has all but three Maschine expansions installed, plus a heap of Akai stuff and my own sample collection, and that takes about half of my 512GB card.
