Traktor Z1 MK2 not working

I bought a new controller and still haven't been able to use - it looks like the controller should work (ie the lights are on) but when I press play on my DJ Traktor Pro 4 nothing happens ie it does not play the song and the headphone lights do not respond to being pressed?? Please help still not able to use!!!

What os are you using? What traktor version are you using?
If Windows, make sure to install the driver and double check that Z1 mk2 (asio) is selected in the traktor audio setup.

Here's the driver if you're on Windows! See if that helps :)0 -
Thanks so much!! You guys are so much more helpful that the actual Traktor help people with my case number I have spent days trying to work this out with no help!
I have installed that driver and yay it is now playing my track but I plug in my headphones and can't get any sound!
Any suggestions? I have Audio setup on Traktor Z1 MK2 (WASAPI (Exclusive mode)) as told by help desk and can now Set Output Routing - Output Monitor on Speakers L and Speaker R. Before installing the driver I only had not connected.
Any suggestions??

Oh NO now the track is playing at snail pace and still no sound through headphones

if you've installed the ASIO driver use it. The WASAPI driver isn't working properly with the recent updates. On the Output routing you need to sed the output monitor to the headphones - note they may be mislabeled in the settings, and set the output master to the speakers.
For the slow audio check the buffer size in the audio set up screen - increase it slightly to get overall latency of around 20ms and see if it improves.

Thanks I have it all working through my speakers and mixer even with the WASAPI driver but still can't get the headphones to work to cue tracks….

The only options I have on the ouput monitor is speakers (no options for headphones) and if I try to change the output master to speakers then the output monitor goes back to not connected!

That's why we are asking you to install and use the ASIO drivers.
Lots of people have trouble with the device on windows right now. I think most fixed it by re-installing the ASIO driver. Native Instruments messed something up.

My unit should be here tomorrow and I will test PC and Mac and report here. Hopefully no issues with core audio drivers 🤞
