Set up macshine studio

HHeY.

I have a macshine studio, a NI novation midi keyboard & a focus rite daw.

Am very new to all of this hardware, but am keen to learn.

being djing for many yrs.

Any help, advice on setting up this gear be appreciated.

First step would be installing Native Access and registering your Maschine Studio. This will give you access to the software (that will be showed and installed from NA).

Once you will have the software, you can in its settings choose the midi keyboard and the Focusrite (which I suppose is an audio interface, Focusrite has no DAW as long as I know)

Thanks for the reply. I read somewhere that NI doesn't support the software on the maschine Studio anymore since 2023- I may be wrong ?

Am hoping there's still enough software to enable me to get the hardware up & running ?

No, Maschine Studio is still compatible even with the new Maschine 3 software. But registering it with the serial should give you Maschine 2, since that was the software that was bundled.

The only thing that could give problems is the compatibility with Sequoia, which is not declared yet (the only NI hardwares listed are Traktor controllers). This doesn’t mean that it SURELY is not working on it, but it’s not officially stated
