Kontact 8 Full Version issue

I have the full version of Kontakt 8, but I keep getting this window after 30 mins or so of using the Nord Stage Ultimate VST. Is this a Kontakt issue? Or the VST?

You have Kontakt Player 8, not the full version (which will display as Kontakt without the Player text).
Kontakt (Full) is required for both licensed and unlicensed (those that does not require a serial number in Native Access) Kontakt libraries to be used. Kontakt (Full) is available as a standalone product purchase, or comes bundled in Komplete Standard, Ultimate, or Collector’s Edition.
On the other hand, Kontakt Player is for libraries that require serial numbers in Native Access. You can use unlicensed libraries but you will be limited to 30 minutes only. Kontakt Player is free for anyone to download, install, and use.
Manufacturers have to license—for a fee—from Native Instruments in order for their libraries to be used with Kontakt Player.

You're running the Player version of Kontakt, not the full version. Check out the top left hand corner of your image. Make sure that you're loading the full version of the VST in your DAW and not the player version.

It will not matter as Kontakt (Full) and Kontakt Player are one and the same app and plug-in. It is the Kontakt or Komplete bundle license serial number that dictates whether Kontakt will run in Full mode or Player mode.
The only time it matters if you have already installed Kontakt 6 or 7 (Full) previously. Then you have to choose the right plug-in version to use.

That's what I was thinking, maybe the OP has a full licence for an older version rather than K8.

If you can wait, Native Instruments usually run their Summer of Sound sale around June where you can get individual NI products and bundles including updates, upgrades, and cross-grades with up to 50% discount.

Definitely agree with @victorp.sg - you'll get a much better deal in the sales if you can hang on until then!

I had know idea about Kontakt VS Kontakt Player.

Wait for a sale then get Komplete 15 Standard unless you are not interested in the libraries that it comes with. The bundles Standard and higher tier all gives you full versions of N.I. 'flagship' software and is also the best deal by far if you are interested in the content.
Compare Komplete 15 bundles (you can always see present prices on the compare page) , same goes for the My Komplete Offers page when logged in.
