Moving Kontakt Libraries to a New Hard Drive
Due to running out of space for sound sets on my 4TB SSD and I have installed an 8TB SSD and want to redirect all of the Kontakt libraries to the new SSD so that they are recognized by my DAW. All of my Kontakt libraries and all other 3rd party sound sets are located on my 4TB SSD and nothing else. I have copied all the files from the 4TB drive to the 8TB drive. Should I have done that or should I have kept the 8TB SSD blank prior to redirecting the libraries and soundset to the 8TB SSD prior to redirecting them? I have contacted Native Instruments and all I get is AI answers, which do not always answer the quetions correctly.

Be sure to be using latest version of Native Access for your OS
Since you apparently are using Windows then all you needed to have done from the very start were to have used a drive copy tool and copy the old drive to the new drive and then assign the drive letter from the old drive to the new drive, then all should have worked right away.

Another reminder (have already this feature request to the NI Native Access team) the need for a menu to move your NI libraries between drives, especially necessary when you only store your current project libraries locally on your laptop and need to quickly move libraries around.
Look at Steam as a great example how moving game libraries between drives is done, just copy this UX. As a user I should not have to manually move and reindex my libraries. That is not great UX and a recurring problem with at least the previous NI software development philosophy where are expected to manually manage their products and understand where everything is stored.
We also need a page in Native Access where we can see on what drives libraries are stored, and how much space of the volume consist of NI libraries.

Wow, that was an easy fix! Thank you, so much! I am now able to load all the content from other vendors, such as Opus and Musio, but I am still getting an error message when I attempt to load Kontakt 8 into my DAW. I have posted a screenshot. I have been unable to reach any human being at NI. I keep getting AI, which is of no help thus far. Any suggestions on how to reach out to someone living at NI?

As for the Kontakt problem then I am not entirely sure what is the problem.
Be sure to be using latest version of Native Access for your OS
Then try uninstalling the Kontakt 8 app
Then run Native Access as an Admin and re-install Kontakt 8 again
Then reinitialize the KONTAKT Database
Then run the Kontakt 8 as standalone
Then check if that fixed the DAW problem
If that did not fix your problem then you should try resetting the DAW or at least do a complete reset of the plugins / a complete re-scan of plugins.
