Any way to disable Ozone's "Help us improve your experience" popup?

Is there a way to permanently disable this?

I've disabled Send usage data but it still keeps showing that popup.

You didn't tell if this was done inside the plugin , but if it was then try running DAW as an Administrator and then first turn on send usage data then exit all and then run DAW as an Administrator again and then turn of send usage data then exit all and then see if that helped .

Else you could try the same as above using another plugin host to see if that makes any difference.

Maybe it will not work , but it is not much trouble to try and maybe it could work, sometimes these things can be a little finicky. You could also try same operations using another iZotope Ozone plugin.

Could you give us some context? Like what's your operating system, what DAW, what version of Ozone and when does this window shows up?

    Sure!

    Windows 10
Reaper 7.33 (latest version and regular install, not Portable); SWS Extensions 2.14.0.3 (latest) installed
    Ozone Advanced 11.2.0
Can't think of anything else version-related that could affect this.

It seems like it shows up when I open an Ozone family plugin's UI for the first time that day. I was originally under the impression that it shows up when I open any Ozone family plugin's UI window the first time for that Reaper bootup.

But turns out that it doesn't show up anymore even after I'd rebooted my computer. I think it's time-based, perhaps it resets in a day or something?

In any case, is there a way to just disable the thing? In General Options, I've disabled Send usage data but it still keeps showing that popup.

If you go to product portal > Click on the gear icon

Go to preferences, you can uncheck it under usage data there. In the plugin there is also a field for this the plugin, if you click on the gear icon and go under the general tab, make sure send usage data is unchecked there just for good measure.

Unfortunately that doesn't help. It was already unticked, anyway. There is no way to just tell the plugins themselves to stop showing the dialog box?

@PhantomGlass I've contacted you by email regardig this issue and forwarded your case to an Izotope/Ozone specialist, they should get back to you as soon as possible.

I opened Reaper as Administrator, and the box did not appear. I just closed Reaper and opened it again normally, and it didn't appear either. I'll let it be and try again tomorrow without Admin, see if it makes a difference now. Thanks for the idea!

    Thank you, that's very kind!

You are most welcome and thank you very much for the feedback 🙂 I hope that the 'fix' will stick. 😀

@Jeremy_NI , apparently then my suggestion/idea above did have an impact on this issue 🙂

(to which extend remains to be determined 👨‍💻)
