Komplete Audio 1 - No output from headphones, or either input channel.

Hi all.
I suspect a problem with my Komplete Audio 1.
The device was working absolutely fine - no issue with any functionality at all - however, recently I have noted there is zero output from the headphone socket, and no output being generated from either input.
I've done the usual things, reinstalled absolutely everything, etc. However I think the telling thing is this - when there is input to either channel there are the signal lights responding on the top panel, BUT when the Input/Host knob is turned all the way to HOST there is still no sound to be heard. It's my understanding that this is direct and "in the box" which leads me to believe there is a genuine fault.
To be clear - output from a PC generated source is fine. I can run ASIO VSTs and PC audio, and hear their output, etc.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!

    Hello,

If you can hear something coming from your DAW do you then hear it from the headphones out too? In your DAW have you set the inputs correct and created an audio track with that input set as source, and enabled software monitoring (necessary if you set monitor input/host knob to host on the ka1), or have tried to record something from that input into your DAW? And if you want to hear the input through the interface (hardware direct monitoring) you have to set the input/host knob somewhere in the middle but then of course don't activate software monitoring for the inputs.

No, everything in the DAW is correct.

Sound can be heard through monitors, but zero from the headphone output, and again even though there is signal registered on the led top panel there is zero from the input's direct monitoring, either (as well as zero being sent to the PC)...which leads me to believe this is a hardware fault somewhere.

Have you tried with the ASIO driver? Installing the ASIO Driver for KOMPLETE AUDIO 1 / 2 / 6 MK2 (Windows)

Can you try the device on another computer? If the behaviour is the same, it's probably a hardware default, get in touch here: https://bit.ly/NI_support_Hardware

Yes, it does the same when running ASIO, and other protocols, like Direct audio nd windows audio, etc.

Seems to me to be a hardware fault, but it's less than three months old, so will go back to the store first! Thanks for your help.
