How do I link my hardware to maschine 2?

I have been using Maschine 2 for a while. Fine until recently, when my controllers disconnected (can't think of a better word).

When I go in the 'controllers' tab in the top bar, none of my controllers show up like usual. Also tried the hardware section in preference

    Fixed the a49 keys-not-working problem (wasn't ticked in MIDI inputs)

    Everything is working again… Thanks for the help

    Give us some detail. What controllers/hardware? How are you connecting them?

    PC or Mac? What operating system?

    How long is "a while"? When is "recently"?

    Hardware - maschine mk3 mikro and komplete a49

    OS - windows 11

    A while being around around a year

    Those pages sort of worked…

    I tried the one for maschine controllers my keyboard now lights up and works as usual…except the buttons now play sounds, rather than do what they're supposed to. (after editing the properties of maschine 2)

    Komplete Kontrol has no issues with the keyboard. Works fine.

    I also accidentally pressed end task on the hardware integration agent… Is there a way to get it back?

    If you open Komplete Kontrol in standalone, what is selected as MIDI inputs? What is selected as MIDI inputs in the Maschine software? Please include screenshots.

    The hardware integration agent should start again the next time you open Komplete Kontrol or Maschine.

    Apparently nothing is connected… Also the buttons on the keyboard stopped working (like the arp & browser). The keys work fine though

    I went into native access 2 days ago and tried re-installing maschine 2… still installing, not sure why it's taking so long

    Are you running Komplete Kontrol as admin? How to Run a Program as an Administrator

    Not done anything but when I opened Komplete Kontrol today everything worked fine again…

    Maschine 2 has finally reinstalled (which is also working). The buttons on my a49 are working on Maschine 2, but not the keys… no issues with the mk3
