I bought Kontakt 8 over an hour ago, still nothing in Native Access
Hi,
I bought Kontakt 8 about 90 minutes ago, got all the confirmations by email and the serial in the web portal.
It still doesn't show in the Native Access program (yes I refreshed of course).
I tried manually putting the serial into Native Access and it seemed to work, but I still cannot see Kontakt 8 in the list (see screenshot).

Also try a reboot if not done so.
Are you using latest version of Native Access for your OS ?
Also , products will not show unless compatible with your OS
Try resetting the Native Access XML file , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access .
Else give it some hours then try a reboot again , it has been seen from time to time that some hours can pass before the product show.
If the problem persists then please contact N.I. Native Access and Installation Support .

You won’t see Kontakt 8 when using Native Access v1. (Which is in your screenshot)
That version is close to permanent retirement on Feb 28.
If your OS is compliant - you need to install Native Access v3.16 or higher.VP

Ok thanks. The one I just downloaded is called "Native-Access_2.exe". Would that still be ok? Thjat's the one given to me on the website.
I run on Linux using wine + yabridge for Ardour. I don't have any Windows nor Mac. Can someone tell me what to click on that first page? I assume it's an agree thing? But when I click the left button it closes, and I cannot click the right one. Obviously there's a bug when opening it in wine (maybe missing fonts, who knows) so I have to find some trickery to still go through the installation process despite not seeing anything.0 -

Ok but I don't have choice and "Kontakt 7 Player" works just fine. So I just need to figure out how to install that Kontakt 8.
Also, I managed to get around the initial Agree thing by resizing the window who forces the redrawing of the content…
I seems it might want to install dependencies or something thought…
Isn't there a .exe of the Native Access 3.16 that I could download directly? (instead of going through some installer).

Also, since "Kontakt 7 Player" works, is there a way to install Kontakt 7 full? Or to "downgrade" the Kontakt 8 that I bought? I cannot find any Kontakt 7 page on the website, when I replace 8 by 7 in the URL it redirects me to 8.
I don't really care about latest version, I just want a Kontakt that works, and I'm willing to pay whatever it takes for it.

As @BIF already noted - if you want a "Kontakt that works" the requirements for that are Windows or Mac - and nothing else.
Probably should have done a bit of reading on system requirements before pulling the trigger on K8

How do we contact NI? The Chat icon indicated earlier gives no response, and all the email addresses used to sent the order confirmation and so on are noreply addresses… They can obviously see that I never managed to install it so this should be refunded.

The only way that I know of to get a refund - is to do the following:
- Go to the main NI Site and login with your NI acct credentials (Critical)
- Once logged in AND confirmed like so
3. Head over to Purchase Support - here
Purchase Support – Native Instruments
And log a ticket. Only one. Someone will get back to you.
And the fact that you never managed to install it - is not monitored and does not play into this.

I don't see a such thing as a "Ticket" there, only that chat icon where no one (human) ever responds apparently, unless I'm missing something.

How can I install Kontakt 7 full version?
I have Player installed and it works perfectly on Linux, if only I could get version 7 instead of 8 I should be fine.
