8DIO or Native Instruments

Hi Community,

Is the 8DIO bundle, which was recently advertised on the Native Instruments site, provided by NI regarding system requirements or should I contact 8DIO?

    System requirements should be near the same - but if you are wondering about NI specifically - what is the concern?

    I noticed that the 8DIO bundles purchased from NI take a really long time to load in order to hear all the required instruments created in the project. I have an i5 processor with 16GB.

    Load time is heavily influenced by storage, CPU horsepower, the OS and the machine it is running on

    If you are using a consumer grade laptop with a consumer grade (slower) laptop drive running a non-optimized version of Win 11 (for example) with just 16 GB of RAM - it won't be fast no matter what you do.

    Need some more system specs to see where you are actually at.

    Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)

    System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor, Windows 11

    Do you think this information is enough?

    For example: Project loads in Cubase Pro 14.
    When playing the project, the 8DIOs don't start immediately. I click on play and it starts to stutter (playback). Then I have to play from the beginning again so that the instruments can be loaded and played individually.

    You also need to notate what audio interface you are using as well.

    If you are experiencing gapping, glitching, hesitation, freezing between when you press the space bar in Cubase to start the transport and when you hear your sounds - there is something else going on.

    And by your description - it sounds like a lack of CPU, audio latency or simply a track load that this laptop cannot overcome. Or all three.
