The things above together kind of worked.
Only installing the demo then linking it to Native Access didn't work.
After replacing the NativeAccess.xml it did, but I tried that also before the demo thing.
Now I have a working licensed version on my computer, but it still doesn't show up in my Native Access Library, even though it does show up in the list of my Registered Products on my NI account on the website, and it does say "Success You have successfully registered Traktor Pro 4. You can now install this product from the Library.".
NI should really look into what is happening here and why it isn't showing up in some people's libraries.

Hi, I just got my product today and faced with the same issue. I am on MacOS however, anyone familiar with where the xml file should be placed for this OS?

Got this sorted fairly quickly, wasn't aware there was a serial available under my profile for Traktor Pro 4. Simply added it in NI client and it worked like a charm.

I've registered my Traktor X1 using the hardware serial number, still seeing only the Traktor PRO 3 in the Native Access application on mac.

None of the above worked for me. I tried replacing the xml file as well. BTW for people who can't find the location on mac, it's in Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments
