Traktor Battle mixer concept
Firstly I'm not affiliated with NI and this isn't a leak, more of a quick visual concept of what I would like to have as a pro battle mixer for traktor

Ah, shut up and take my money! 😎
Wow, I really wouldn't hesitate for a second and would buy it straight away.

Even if it means I can't have this, I will still wish that all my fellow Traktor friends will get it in the near future.
come on Traktor give us "Pro" or "Flagship" gear before AI takes it all…

Want. Gotta have decent meters, though.

The idea is good, but it's far from being a cost-benefit like the Z2.
It's closer to the S11.
I'd rather have a good price than a product that I won't use even 10% of its functions.

This looks gorgeous! Congrats Toltemic💪
Make this happen NI 🙏

Cheers for the compliments!
I do agree its niche of niche in terms of product viability (especially with the amount of young DJ's I talk to that honestly had no clue DVS existed). But on the other hand- battle mixers are heavily more software dependent for its performance features, so for a flagship device to show off Traktor's unique capabilities (i.e. remix deck and stem deck) on pro gear I would think a pro battle mixer is the way to go. Because any less is already out there and mappable.

I like the concept and it follows the newer design ethic of NI. We need a new Z2 mk2 / Z4 from Ni - the Z2 is damn near perfect as it is, it just lacks full 4 channel control and maybe a few extra controls for stems. Maybe NI could combine portability with modular and make a Z2 mk2 with a z1 mk2 at the core (the central ‘strip’) which you can detach to take on the go, but dock with the main chassis to make a full 4 channel mixer.

FKN Beautiful, I wish NI would partner with a high end mixwer maker, problem with these things is the small amount of sales

This is an excellent concept and I really hope NI are taking note, this sort of thing, full featured modular hardware will definitely sell, I'd mostly be interested in the mixer related features. It would be perfect if they released modular decks too, like what Rane have done so well, just base it on whatever the s4 mk4 turns out to be.
Personally I would prefer a 4 channel mixer and would only buy a mixer with at least 4 discreet channels. 2 ch will still sell very well, it's just not for me.
That's my 2 cents

Yeah originally this started as a z4 concept but my design is more towards mid level gear than pro level, sort of xone-ish / v10 club standard but shrunk to fit with in 2 traktor modular widths- to be inline with current design. So I/O is quite limited which is major downside. But I think as a cheap mid 4 channel (maybe under £500) it might fill a market? talking hypothetically of course 😄
This mixer is technically a 2+2 channel mixer, and- unlike the s11 - it has physical controls. The C & D buttons change the fx module to an eq and fader knob. Same with all the buttons along side the physical fx module (some when held whilst also pressing 'cue' button- below the pads- will change the pads as well, remix deck for example) the In 1 and In 2 buttons adds extended control of the mic channel as well as send and return.

Should probably have knobs for mixerFX. The flappy paddle way of doing it isn't really compatible with Traktor, as it doesn't let you set the strength independently on each deck.
EDIT: on second look, I guess the knobs further down are for mixer FX, and the paddles are for FX units?1 -
yeah, The paddles are for the FX units- so you always have access to on/off even if your on other layers on the 'FX unit' module on the mixer
