Traktor z1 Mk2 fresh out of the box will not stay powered on. It flashes then quickly goes off I therefore can't even enter the provided serial number to begin using it because the software can't read it. Any solution to this issue?

    Return it. Try a different set of cables and/or connect the device to a different socket of your computer first.

    You need to enter the number into native access, you don't have to connect it for that.

    If it is like other traktor controllers it will only light up once you have traktor running.

    Does setting the unit in to the MIDI mode works? If so that the unit should work and it is only a matter of running correct TP4 version on your computer.

    You are probably right. I was much too quick in my assessment and assumed the user was on the most recent version of TP4.
