Recently installed NI on my new Mac, and all the instruments show as folders. Any idea why I don't see the normal icons for the instruments? I do have all my libraries on an external SSD. Kontakt version 8.
Did you use Native Access to install these or ?

Yes - however they were already on external SSD when I re-installed my new machine and I just updated the content folder in NI to point to external drive. Then did a scan/maintenance and they all appeared properly in Native Access but are folders in Kontakt
Yeah - I believe you have to do Locate in NA first - that should set all the graphics etc back to normal.
There is knowledge base article out there somewhere too on this.
I did the Locate Content as the first step, it's how I brought in all the content into Native Access
everything shows up properly in Native Access. Just Kontakt 8 is missing icons
I still haven't been able to figure out how to fix this. I wonder if it's an issue on Kontakt 8.

Thanks - at first this looked very promising but while I have the "image" and "dist_database" folders in /Users/Shared/NI Resources but when I look at my content folder where all the instruments are installed, I do not see any additional images or dist_database folders that I might copy to the users shared folder.
